Today I got two miles into my run and my knee completely died on me! I think the combination of running on pavements and old(ish) shoes (only a year old) has taken its toll? I don’t know, but I’m going to give running a rest for a week or so and then get on the treadmill after that for a while.

Anyway, after my dad picked me up from my run (seriously, I could barely walk), I arrived home to my packages from Nike! I am so pleased with my purchases. Amongst them is my favourite new thing - purple “retro” as Joe likes to say, sports bra. 

Just a shame I wont be able to wear it all for a while! The world does work backwards sometimes.

Yesterday was amazing here in London! So warm and sunny. I took my marc jacobs sunglasses out on their maiden voyage.

This week has been the longest, most tiring week in a long while. I had to be up at 5.45 each morning and tiredness really does take its toll with me. Suffice to say, I haven’t been for a run all week - I’ve just felt too exhausted. 

Today is miserable - cold, wet and windy - and I don’t have a waterproof running jacket (yet) BUT I went anyway and it felt good. Not amazing, but I’m glad I did it. I ran 6 miles and I feel like I had a lot more in me (the cold and rain did get to me a little). I had the new The Fray album in my ears and the rain hitting my face and I was thinking about all the things I want to do this summer and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. 

God, I do love running.
